The Bird's Nest Bed and Breakfast

We stayed for a wonderful long weekend here. The Carriage House is beautiful and very large for just 2 people, but it was perfect for us. It was very clean and easily accessible from the parking area. We had 2 amazing breakfasts during our too short stay. The service is amazing and the staff is very friendly and wonderful to do business with. There is a beautiful garden with a pond and waterfall as well as a deck with a picnic table right outside the room. It is a great place to come to relax. I highly recommend The Bird's Nest even if you aren't far from home. It is a great getaway and a wonderful place to come for some R&R.

This property is peaceful and beautiful. It was the perfect getaway for us. We enjoyed breakfast out on the deck connected to our room. The hosts were very friendly and helped us whenever we had a question or needed something. We have already booked another stay here.

This was the perfect place for our family to gather together while in the area for a family reunion. Liz, our hostess, made us feel at home and she created the most fabulous breakfasts delivered to our room. We stayed in the Carriage House which was spacious, comfortable and lovely. The grounds were beautiful in the fall with colors, pumpkins and the cutest kitties too! The location was perfect for us as we fly in and out of Allentown, is close to Hawk Mountain where we enjoyed a morning of hiking and for visiting family throughout the area. Since we visit family several times a year this is definitely our home away from home.

My family of 5 stayed in the Carriage House at The Bird’s Nest and it was absolutely perfect! Liz was a great host and provided us with a quick rundown of how everything worked/where everything was when we first got there. My kids enjoyed the pond with the frogs and fish, as well as the cats roaming around. The gardens and wildflowers are truly beautiful. I enjoyed the very comfortable beds and clean linens, as well as the abundance of towels - very nice touch! The breakfasts were great, we especially enjoyed the biscuits and honey and fresh fruit, and having it brought to us on our beautiful deck! Thanks for the amazing stay Liz - we hope to see you again!

My husband and I spent a long weekend at the Birds Nest and had the most relaxing time. Liz, John and their family were so kind, chill, and welcoming and totally responsive to anything we needed. The property is gorgeous — we loved sitting outside during what was a perfect fall foliage weekend and also staying cozy inside in front of the fireplace. Not to mention the breakfast, which was honestly amazing (best Dutch baby pancake I’ve ever had). A true bed and breakfast experience. We loved the proximity to Hawk Mountain (just a few min drive), so many cute farms, and just being in nature. We will definitely be back.
