The Big Elk Restaurant

Very clean and relaxed vibe. Server kept an eye on our coffee and water. We had the NY steak and even though it was thin, it was good. We'll definitely be going back.

The food at the Big Elk Restaurant was fabulous. The BLT sandwich was wonderful, with perfectly toasted wheat bread, with tasty bacon an pickles. The onion rings where definitely made there and not the fried frozen kind. The NY steak was cooked to my liking (med-well) but still juicy. The service was great.

Last visited: May 2024 On the way from a hiking spot — Marymere Falls — to Bainbridge Island. Stopped by here at The Big Elk Restaurant, mainly as we heard they serve Elk here. Came here with fam, we are visiting Seattle, WA area. Group of 10 or so. I ordered: - Chocolate Milkshake - Real Elk Burger (extra 1/2 lb Elk patty) - Clam Chowder as soup side Rest of group ordered: - Seafood Platter - Real Elk Burger (x2) - Grilled Chicken Platter - Fish and Chips Ambiance was swell. We got a separate room for our group. There was a fake mirror on the wall, rather clever. I (along with most of others) ordered Real Elk Burger, as that is a signature dish here at Big Elk. What an incredible restaurant! The food was amazing , the staff was attentive and we left with full bellies ! The restaurant was so clean and the bathrooms too. We never waited for refills, and were very happy with our experience. I ordered the chowder and it did not disappoint. My children had breakfast and my husband had the elk burger . Nice large serving sizes and everything came out hot ! We loved it 😊

Great experience. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Big portions. I had the elk burger, my wife had the crispy chicken salad.Both very good and prices are very reasonable considering the quality and portions. Seems to be popular with the locals. Definitely recommend.
