The Better Biscuit

What a great breakfast. The best corned beef hash I’ve had in a long time (made in-house). My brother’s burrito was also excellent. I will be sure to stop in again when I visit.

This place has the potential to be a great breakfast spot. It has all the staples; great looking menu, kitschy decorating and a good location. It was disappointing to see how short they fall on it though. My wife and I stopped by right at opening on a Sunday. I ordered the poblano omelette, she ordered the carnitas supreme. Both appeared to be great, but lacked much flavor. The poblano omelette was stiff, a bit rubbery and covered in a cream sauce that tasted like thickened heavy cream. The poblanos had no presence in flavor. The hasbrowns were bordering on burned on the outside, but raw in the middle. The carnitas was dry and obviously sitting in a warmer for a while, like a day or two. Again, no flavor other than the salsa on top. Many places use corn, but the fried flour tortilla was a

This understated restaurant is a hidden gem at the very southern edge of Phoenix. I always eat here with my boss when we're working in the area. He loves the chicken fried steak breakfast with a buttered biscuit, and I always get the vegan breakfast burrito (no eggs or cheese) with avocado and veggie burger crumbles. It's simply delicious and the kitchen makes it special for me each visit. I truly appreciate their openness in accommodating my dietary restrictions. Better Biscuit goes above and beyond to satisfy their customers. Highly recommended

First time here and it was awesome. I got the omelet with spicy poblano. It tasted amazing. I didn't need to add anything to it. The service was great. There was only one waitress, but she was ON IT! She didn't stop smiling, she kept checking on us and it was busy so she was everywhere. Definitely coming back
