The Benjamin Prescott Inn

We stayed at the inn for two nights this past November while exploring the area, and enjoyed this lovely historic inn. Chris is a great host and took good care of us. Breakfast was really good and Chris accommodated my gluten-free diet. The inn is cozy and while it has a dining room with plenty of seating there is not a communal living room for guests, but if you are out and about doing things that doesn’t really matter. We did a lovely walks at nature preserves in the area.

First stay at the Benjamin Prescott Inn and it was as very pleasant and comfortable. Chris/Innkeeper was extremely pleasant and accommodating. Check-in was easy, room was clean and cozy and breakfast was delicious. Blueberry waffles and sausage, eggs/potatos/ham and blueberry pancakes/maple bacon on days 1-3. Great location about 1/2 miles from Jaffrey Center, and old charm area. Highly recommend, and mid October was the perfect time to stay to catch the foliage.

We found ourself in the area unexpectedly for a night and desperately needed a place to stay. Chris not only made it possible for us to check in after 9pm but also made us breakfast the next morning- an hour earlier than normal so we could get back on the road nonetheless! Not to mention the fact he made us fresh pancakes, bacon, and fruit that was all delicious. The room was super cute and clean too. We are beyond grateful for the room provided but also for the kindness Chris and his wife showed.

This is the second time I have stayed here, and let me tell you, it's just the way I remembered it from when I was a kid. The owners, Chris and Sue, are wonderful. They are incredibly friendly and helpful, and take the time to make the stay at the inn personal and warm. It's a very comforting place. The building is old, so it comes with its creaks and quirks, but it is such a charming and cozy place to get a break from the world. Beds were clean and comfy, rooms absolutely immaculate and simply beautiful. Breakfast served every morning, a new item each day. Did I mention it's all home made?? These folks are so accommodating and friendly, and I can safely say on behalf of the whole family, we will be returning many times after. It felt like going to visit family. If you're looking for an authentic Bed and Breakfast experience in an historical Inn, look no further. The Benjamin Prescott Inn has charming, rooms and gracious hosts. Sue and Chris were informative and professional. They will make you feel right at home. Breakfast was delicious and they were happy to accommodate our dietary restrictions. Our room was clean and comfortable. The Inn is on a somewhat busy road, however it wasn't an issue for us, and the location was great for seeing local attractions like the Cathedral of the Pines, Mt. Monadnock and Peterborough. A nice spot for a memorable getaway for sure.
