Customer Reviews
The place itself looks fine, but the coffee is absolutely terrible. I ordered a cappuccino and honestly… I don’t even know what to call what I got. Coffee with hot milk? It’s clear the barista has no idea how to make a proper cappuccino. This was a disaster. Even a beginner could have done better. A cappuccino is not just espresso with steamed hot milk poured on top. It requires properly textured milk with proper microfoam. The milk should be velvety and structured — not just overheated liquid milk with no foam. I genuinely thought that if someone is hired as a barista, they should at least complete a basic course on how to prepare different types of coffee and how to texture milk properly — whether for a cortado, cappuccino, flat white, or latte. These are basics. This is definitely not a
Cute little spot to hang out. Their coffee is delicious, quality of your drink heavily depends on who is working. This is my “cold foam” today. Would recommend the charcoal latte.
This place serves up some seriously good coffee and trust me, I know a lot about coffee! Their avocado toasts are fantastic, but I do wish they'd cook up more eggs because they always seem to run out. Also, would be nice to add some more items to the menu. The atmosphere is great and the servers are super friendly. In summary, it's a great spot for good coffee and tasty food.
I got the charcoal latte and was very pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed it! It stands out from other signature drinks I’ve had and has its own taste that mixes well with an added shot of espresso (which I did). Got a warm plain crossant to go along with it and dip and it was wonderful! Their equipment is really nice and their baristas seem to have good skills and understanding of coffee. I saw some SCA (specialty coffee association) stickers walking in too so they know what’s up! The color scheme and layout of the cafe was really nice too and had a more keep to yourself chill/study vibe there. I’ll be back!
We ordered 2 avocado toasts and 1 ham and cheese. After waiting 30 minutes—and watching people who came in after us get served—we finally asked what was going on. The staff looked at each other like they had no idea. Even after pointing out it had already been half an hour, they continued serving others before us. When we did get our ham and cheese, no joke, they just grabbed it straight from the fridge and tossed it in a bag. Completely unacceptable. Definitely not coming back to this place.
