Customer Reviews
Food was good! Atmosphere was great. Got the crab cocktail and zucchini planks apps. They rocked. For dinner had the tuna and prime rib. Loved sitting outside! Cons- Side of broccoli tasted like it was frozen and blue cheese dressing for salad was very thick - other than that everything was good! Staff very friendly and attentive. BYOB! Will definitely be back.
The Beach House has been a tradition for our family for decades. They are one of the few places that can handle parties of more than six people and they do take reservations.
The buffalo calamari is one of the best calamari I’ve ever had. I love how thin & lightly fried they are! The chicken was a tad dry but the mashed potatoes were 10/10. The salmon was a 10/0 as well. Shrimp scampi was not made the traditional way & I believe the broccoli was frozen, but it was delicious nonetheless. Definitely a great spot in LBI.
The food was fairly good. It was a bit overpriced for the quality. I ordered the swordfish special as my main dish. The swordfish was cooked well, but the rice pilaf was dry. We also got the calamari special as an appetizer. That was very good. The bread that the serve was also a bit dry. The service was very slow. Again, I think this would be acceptable if it weren't for the fact the food was so expensive.
Bread was not warm and we had to ask for butter. Food was lukewarm, no offer of cheese on pasta, no ketchup, entree not as offered, it was supposed to be sun dried tomatoes and was just diced tomatoes, shrimp was not jumbo, ice bucket put on floor for wine, waitress never inquired if our meal was good, felt rushed even though restaurant wasn’t busy. Was a nice atmosphere but we won’t go back.
