The Beach At Strathmere

This beach is an absolutely hidden gem. Beautiful stretch of beach shore, and a beautiful tiny beach town in Cape May County. The beach and parking in the entire town is absolutely free, one of the only beaches in the entire state of NJ like this! My wife and I got here on a Thursday morning late July at 8am and were able to park right next to the beach, probably a good 2 minute walk from the car to the beach. We came back Sunday at around 1pm, and although it was a little more difficult to find parking we were also able to secure a spot coming at this time. This is a family friendly beach! 🏖️🌊

Clean soft sand with sea life alive and well. No life guard or bathrooms. They do have Porta potties at the entrance. Free beach -free roadside parking

I parked close to the walk thru but had to pay $10 ea to enjoy a perfect day on the beach...

I went in October. Hardly anyone there, very pretty sunrises, great beach for walking. Thousands of birds, dogs allowed, weather is fairly nice and it's a clean beach.
