The Barn

First timers at The Barn, and enjoyed tremendously. Sam, the bartender was great! Talked with the owner, Steve, who shared some insights into the building and the trials and tribulations of opening up a new business and jumping thru various hoops and red tape of the city regs. Enjoyed food from the food truck that arrived, Doggie Macs, by Chef B. Piano playing added an extra flare! You all need to check this wonderful addition to the City of Columbia, IL

I went on a Friday night and loved the atmosphere! There was a piano player doing a variety of songs. Very clean and comfortable. Music is at a reasonable volume so you can actually hold a conversation and enjoy yourself.

Had the best Saturday night at The Barn! Excellent live music, great drinks and pizza, and friendly and helpful bartenders and staff. Check it out especially on Saturdays for a request-driven show that gets the whole bar singing!

As someone who really tries to support local businesses and share positive experiences with them, I don’t find joy in posting my experience yesterday at The Barn. I am only posting this as a warning for anyone else that wants to book a party with them. I have been a supporter of The Barn since the day they opened. It was my first choice when I wanted a cocktail in town. I booked my 30th birthday party with Steve back in November. I’ve been chatting with him about my party every time I saw him in between that time. We messaged back and forth about the logistics and how I would get the whole upstairs room. He also didn’t ask me to pay a deposit and promised that he would put me down on the calendar. Fast forward to yesterday, I went up there to start decorating at 3 pm. I started walking up

We had our son’s college graduation party at The Barn. The upstairs is a great space for parties and Steve is so accommodating to anything we needed. Even though this is a 21 and older establishment, our whole fault was able to attend the party upstairs which made the event even better! The service was fantastic along with the drinks! Highly recommend going here for drinks or reserving their space for any party you have!
