👩🍳 After three years in Germany, I was thrilled when my sister suggested having breakfast at this adorable little European-style bakery in Aberdeen! 🥐 The croissant is “🌟 Allie Approved 🌟” and even more so, it was so refreshing to find more affordable pricing 👏 Pricing here in the US has been tough to get used to! 🫠 🇫🇷 We even had a couple of French ladies dining behind us to solidify the European atmosphere! 😍 C’était fantastique! 🥖 I’ll have to try their baguettes sometime. So far bread here has been bland and gross (for the most part). The ones on display looked pretty legit though!
We took a weekend trip to Pinehurst and Southern Pines and someone recommended we check out Aberdeen. We popped in and my husband ordered a cream filled baked item (I was busy looking at my phone and missed what they call that sweet) but he devoured it so I can assume it was delicious, & he also ordered a coffee and I tried the mini croissant. It tasted just like it came from a French bakery. It was very good! The place isn’t fancy…the coffee is okay but they obviously have lasted decades in business for their fresh, homemade & reasonably priced baked goods.
This place is great to get bread from or to go to for lunch or snack. I do appreciate the atmosphere. It is relaxing and not too loud. I do wish they had more gluten free options
5 stars is not enough. The cake I ordered for my son’s second birthday was delicious! Kaitlin did an amazing job and also accommodated to my requests. I wanted the filing to be dulce de leche and she did that for me. I gave her the dulce de leche and she did her magic. The cake was moist, the icing perfect. Everyone said the cake was great. Thank you!!!!
Fantastic gem in Aberdeen. Got a delicious breakfast with a hot fresh hard roll and some bakery items to go. So good we’re definitely going back
