The Bagel Store

Been coming to this place now, for a while doing DoorDash pickups has figured I'd give it a shot. They treat their customers the same way they treat their door dashers, they have about 8 girls behind the counter that are high school girls all with a pound of makeup on their face on their cell phones doing absolutely nothing. While you sit there and wait about 15 minutes for your bagel to be made. Their services horrible, they have bad attitudes. The food might be delicious. I'm not gonna give any business to somebody, just wanna wait about 20 minutes for a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich, I'd rather go to bagel supreme in Rutherford, that waste my time with these high school people.

Not recommended! They have deal for 5 bagel + cream cheese as a side 10$. But they don’t toast the bagels if you buy that. You have to add extra cream cheese spread in them to toast. If you buy their bagels and their own cream cheese you will eat cold as ice bagels and mid quality cream cheese 🤡. Such a bad customer service. Worst bagel store experience.

A proper jersey coffee/deli. You when it’s ran by three grandmothers. The place is clean, everything looks fresh and believe it or not the prices were very reasonable.

I spent almost 5 bucks for a bagel with flavored cream cheese. Never in my life have I been given a bagel with little to no cream cheese. And this was the better half, I took 2 bites of the 1st half and tossed it. It's kinda ballsy to charge people that much and barely put anything on it. If it was the 1st time this happened I would t care so much, but it's become common these days. I'll go someplace else from now on.

I'm surprised not many people use the small outdoor seating, which is one of my favorite aspects of coming here. I like that they make their own spreads for use and also have them for sale at counter. Breakfast specials and sandwiches are above average generally. The macaroni salad is simply different than normal which makes it admirable. Only downside I've experienced in several years consuming here is, early closing times for people like me who enjoy a late-afternoon meal, and although extremely kind service, it may not be the quickest at all times.
