The Bagel Man

9/6/25: Finally popped in to The Bagel Man this particular Saturday, what a fun time! From the second we walked in the door, the vibe made us feel like we were greeting long-lost-family. The gentleman behind the counter was boisterous, cracking jokes left & right, gobbling like a turkey (trying to persuade me to order that particular bagel breakfast sandwich - it worked). Ha! It is a tight spot, no sitting inside, and only a few chairs/tables outside. They have a lot of classic items in front of their counters (stereos, phone, etc); that was fun to peruse through while we waited. The sandwiches came out quickly & luckily a table was available outside. While we were woofing down the delightful food, a guy came out & started speaking with us. Turns out, he was the cook. What a wonderful place!! The owners were absolutely amazing. Such nice people and the bagels are amazing. My family is from New Jersey so I know good bagels and these are just like back east. Highly recommend you stop by. They were running low by 9:30am though but still worth it.

The Bagel Man in Phoenix definitely lives up to its "Best of 2025" title! Beyond the award-winning bagels, the shop offers a charming, nostalgic atmosphere filled with vintage radios and retro cameras. The real star, however, is the cream cheese selection—don't leave without trying the savory Jalapeño or sweet Walnut Raisin Honey spreads. A delicious, eclectic local gem!

Best bagel place here in AZ! So delicious and fresh every bite is absolutely yummy. The owner is incredibly friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. You can really feel the care and love put into the food. Highly recommended!

I've been wanting to go to the Bagel Man for months, since my friends told me about it. Well, thanks to a terrible bout of Insomnia, I was finally able to go, and it was so good! Everyone inside was super kind and helpful, the bagels were plentiful, with a variety of cream cheese options, and I got my food and got to head back home quickly because of how well their place is run. Kudos Bagel Man, if I'm ever up early as heck again, I'll stop by for more.
