The Bagel Box

Cute little shop with amazing fresh bagels. They had a little crunch on the outside with the perfect amount of chew. I got an everything bagel w veggie cream cheese which was generous both on the cream cheese and the veggies in the cc. They had plenty of bagels to choose from and had breakfast sandwiches with that classic NJ yellow cheese.

I’ve lived in the area for many years and Bagel Box is still the best. Many bagel places to choose from, but The Bagel Box is always my favorite. Don’t pass on the Sliced Nova, Cream Cheese, and Red Onion, my personal favorite.

I'm glad I stopped here. While visiting home (Jersey) and families, I always stop for NJ/NY regulation-sized food that cannot be found in Maryland/DC area. Service was fast, bagels and crumb cake were On-Point.

I order from them at least once a week but I’m getting turned off now. Their food is tasty but they are expensive now and overcharge you randomly and no matter how many times I ask (and pay)for 4 egg whites- I get 2. They refuse to get vegan cream cheese for the lactose intolerant like me even though I’ve been asking for a year. And today they randomly overcharged me 2.50 more for a nova lox bagel. I want to support them because they are hard working and make decent food (except my apple crumb cake last week tasted weird and I threw it out), but sometimes they are rude and cold . I even understand that! The scary atmosphere and hard existence they must have right now in this country -but today with the overcharging me by that much, and then dismissing me as if I’m lying when I told them I

I liked their bagels. They are thick and chewy and the lockse and cream cheese were also really good. I also tried the bagel sandwich with cheese, egg and Taylor ham. The staff try their best to keep everything moving during really high peak time in the morning. I think that maybe they might want to consider expanding into the space next door, which is currently vacant, because the space right now is very very cramped. It would benefit their customers to have some place to sit down and actually enjoy your bagel on the spot.
