The Andiron Seaside Inn & Cabins

Mendocino has many lodging options, but The Andiron should be your choice if you want a bucolic setting, privacy, views, and attentive service. On a hillside above Highway 1, a half-dozen duplex cabins provide views of the Pacific that you'll share with the occasional family of deer crossing through the fields. Inside your cabin, you'll find that personal attention to detail will have been made before your arrival, with the cabin already warm and inviting. Make sure to arrive in time for happy hour with your hosts, and say hi to the goats. Bring some groceries, because while the local dining scene is great, staying in and enjoying your cabin and the views is irresistible.

The cabins are adorable and comfortable. I love how dog friendly the inn was— even the goats were clearly used to dogs being there. Madeline and Scott were fantastic hosts and we had a lovely time.

We returned for our second stay this year & had, again, a perfectly wonderful time. Comfortable unique rooms, good coffee setup, beautiful views, and goats! Welcoming, organized, patient, service. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

We really enjoyed celebrating our Anniversary with our pup at The Andiron! From the cute kitschy rooms with thoughtful touches and the lovely hosts to the beautiful surroundings, it was just perfect. We thought the cabins had everything you would need for a casual stay and was a wonderful, stress free place to base our outdoor explorations from. I will definitely recommend this places to friends & Family :)

The moment I opened the cabin’s door, the soft light, the soothing old music, the whole room decorations to the finest details show the owner's fine taste. I like the handwritten welcome note too. I will give Andiron a super 5 star. A very fine place to stay in Mendocino neighborhood.
