The Alcove

My friend and I found The Alcove while we were in town for distilleries and food. We ended up having a great, laid-back experience. The bar staff was excellent. The bartender was friendly and seemed to know his drinks well. The prices are a huge selling point. They run solid shot and beer specials, and my drink combo came out to $9, which felt incredibly reasonable, especially compared to West Coast prices. This place definitely offers great value. The atmosphere is classic dive. The decor is eclectic and busy—there’s a lot going on, sometimes randomly, but it adds a ton of character and makes the space interesting. It's never boring to look around. We didn't try the food, but I saw a substantial, permanent food-truck-like setup in the back. A major bonus is that the entire back area is

One star is too high for this place especially in the service area. Worst bartender ever. I wouldn't go back here if you paid me. Good thing there isnt a lot of parking because they shouldn't need it. Food is meh I See the owner came on to discounts my experience and imply that I have never tried their mediocre food. Don't break your arm patting yourself on the back there buddy. Point is Ive had your food multiple times on days I visited other than Tuesday. Ive never had anything remarkable the food is what I said it is MEH. No bought and paid for or socially networked awards will change that. Thats not even your biggest problem! Only went to drink so I can't comment on food....but place is awesome! Great selection of beers, cool atmosphere, great service and location! We'll try food next time we go!

Out of towers stopped by while looking for a pool hall. Stepped in but didn't order or got anything. Ended up leaving but the three of us where immediately acknowledged by the barkeep. Which is unusual at bars I have been to. It felt like a nice place. Maybe an older crowd. I would have stayed if I was alone and wanted a pint.

Love love loveee alcove. Every single one of the staff is amazing, the food truck is absolutely delicious and cheaply priced for what you get 😍 and even the staff back there are super welcoming. Good drinks great food and even better staff. 10/10 for me every time. Im a drifter and love all the different types of people who walk thru the doors of alcove. A busy weekend or a nice Tuesday night it’s a nice vibe to just get out the house and connect. If you’re looking for a fun night out, look into the events they hold and get to know and support people in your community 🙏🏼 Tip good they deserve it !
