The 1774 Inn

We hosted our wedding at 1774 Inn this September (2025). Atmosphere is amazing; Inn Keeper is efficient, kind, and professional; the rooms were clean and beds comfortable; Inn owner is incredibly kind and thoughtful; location is absolute perfection. ||Overall our experience with 1774 has been nothing but fantastic. We loved being in a little bubble throughout our wedding weekend by staying at the Inn with the majority of our wedding party and a few special guests. This helped to alleviate some of the stress that is involved with a wedding weekend. It was also so special to be able to have special moments with folks throughout the course of the weekend - whether it was sharing a meal in the kitchen or laughing in the Hayloft. My suggestion to the Inn is that they come up with a better way

The team at the Inn, along with their trusted local vendors, were flexible, responsive, and genuinely invested in making the weekend work for us and our guests from the very beginning. My wife and I came across The 1774 Inn during our wedding venue search online, and just from the photos and reviews we quickly knew this was the place for us. It checked all the boxes, cost, location, views, property, lodging, and ease of communication working with a wonderful team. We had a small wedding of 35 people and booked the Inn for our family to enjoy over three nights. We worked with Marianne who was invaluable throughout our coordination and planning and on the wedding day itself, and Lana who pulled off an incredible rehearsal dinner for us and helped throughout the weekend. We couldn’t be happier with where we got married and look forward to many future visits.

There is a certain understated and ineffable quality to the 1774 Inn that created the most enchanting experience for our four day wedding sojourn. A well-stocked kitchen, family rooms, and a separate loft perfect for families with kids. Marianne was the so competent and cheerful and capably dealt with the high maintenance members of my family (sisters-in-law). No more daughters to marry off. Will have to think of another reason to come back.
