I stopped into Thai Tapas for lunch and was blown away. I had the oysters which were out originally but midday through my silken shrimp appetizer, they got a fresh delivery -- with the Thai chili paste and seafood sauce, these may be the best oysters I've ever had! Order at least 6!!!! I also got the pad Thai with chicken and medium spice (I could've done spicy or Thai hot), it was lunch so it came with hot & sour soup and everything was delicious. The service was wonderful and the decor inside is beautiful but unfortunately it was a small crowd, dinner may be different! Parking was easy out front free for 2 hrs with the app. I may have found my Thai/Sushi home in the Heights.

LOVE THIS PLACE!! The servers are very nice, the food is delectable, and the vibes are always great! Don’t let the flashy & trendy appearance make you feel like you need to come for a special occasion or come dressed up. The Thai steak was so good!! Highly recommend that!! The mango sticky rice was a little different bc the rice texture (I was kinda like a grits texture, not bad just suprised me) but still gooood. I also like thay they have fresh coconut water, literally straight out of the coconut.

This spot has had a couple of Thai restaurants come and go, but the new ownership at Thai Tapas seems to have finally gotten it right. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. It’s definitely a step up from the previous places in the same space. The portions weren’t huge but still filling. The tom yum tasted more like a Vietnamese-style hot and sour soup than a traditional tom yum, but it was still tasty. The tom kha was decent, though I’ve had better elsewhere. The drunken noodles were moist, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The pad woon sen was very flavorful as well. All the dishes had generous portions of meat. The service was friendly, attentive, and quick. The decor was modern and stylish. I’ll definitely be back to try some more dishes.

Came in for a quick lunch and got sat right away. The aesthetics of the restaurant is so cute! New was our server and she was super nice and helpful. The food came out at a decent time. We got a few dishes to try and they were all a good portion. My favorite dishes were the tom yum soup and pad see eew. Perfect amount of spice and flavor! Will definitely be back. Chutoro larb tartare 4/5. Super flavorful! Billionaire bite (nigiri) 3/5 Tom Yum soup 5/5 Pad see eew 5/5 Grill river prawn with seafood sauce 5/5 Pad kra pow 4/5

I feel like if I lived in the area I’d definitely be feasting here more often! We ordered a lot of different dishes to try, and May was completely kind and attentive the whole time! We didn’t even have to ask for chopsticks and were offered some. (This doesnt happen often in other restaurants) We ordered the zapp wings (you have to try if you love lemon pepper-esque wings) they offered a tangy and roasty flavor and were quite addictive. The sea bass was cooked perfectly and had a very umami sauce that the rice soaked up perfectly. The scallop in the yuzu sauce was also amazing! I drank up the sauce it was that good. Another must try was the grilled river prawn- this dish is not commonly found in the US but is a huge hit in Thailand, and across Asia- and if you love tamale, you’ll love this
