Thai Stories Restaurant

Located at the bottom of the hillside in New Haven, one would not expected to find delicious Thai food at this place. Pam See Ew is always tasty, coming back again and again for Thai stories.

Absolutely delicious food, and the staff is always so nice. I would go after an appointment every Monday and I always got some curry or the drunken noodles. All of the curries are delicious and the Drunken Noodles with extra spice are phenomenal! I'm very sad I won't be able to return any time soon due to circumstances, because this place is very worth the visit!

I’ve never experienced this at any Thai restaurant ever, or any other restaurant for that matter. In my drunken chicken, they served greasy, ground chicken (like ground beef), as opposed to actual pieces of chicken. I can make chicken helper on my own at home for a fraction of the price, thank you

Take out containers shrank in size several ounces mid-2025....if I am going to spend 17 dollars, I'll go somewhere else where I can get almost twice the same amount of food. I really did like everything else about Tai Stories food was superior, service friendly, atmosphere in house OK, but I'm a mostly take out person.

The waitress was sharp and not necessarily pleasant. Crab Rangoon is frozen. I know this because I had an ice cube in the middle of 2 of them and sent them back. The dumplings were ok. Had drunken noodles with chicken, average at best. Overall, it’s just not that good.
