Thai Spice

We came to Thai Spice on a Wed night. There was no wait and 3 other people seated. They always greet us with smiles, and they are very pleasant. When reading the reviews and looking at the poor quality photos, I think they are getting a disservice. We ordered Chicken Satay and Roti (unfortunately, I forgot to take a photo, so I had to lift one off the internet). The Satay is fresh and delicious. The condiments that come with it are also very tasty. The Roti was warm and flakey. The same peanut sauce that comes with the Satay comes with the Roti. It's thick and not watered down like another reviewer stated. Our entrees were Chicken Ra-Na with Broccoli instead of spinach (the guys favorite-fresh thinly sliced chicken and broccoli perfectly cooked with a thick peanut sauce), Pumpkin Curry - V

Really great meal One thing I will say is that the façade does not match the interior, which actually comes off as a little upscale. Inside is a bit intimate but pretty nice overall. At first my experience wasn’t too positive as we were not acknowledged or seated for a solid 15 minutes after we walked in and it took awhile for our order to be taken and food to be served. The food however was quite excellent and I could have ate so much more than we ordered and made the entire experience worth it. Some of the best pad Thai with chicken I’ve ever had so would highly recommend. Stop by if you’re in the area!

Ordered on a Sat night via Doordash. Food arrived hot and within the estimated time. Asked for the chicken yellow curry with rice - was appropriately flavored and was not spicy. Chicken was moist and and well cooked. Pad Thai was what was to be expected, nothing special but good. And the tofu spring rolls were good as well. Overall, decent dinner for the price albeit no true awe factor.

The food and the wait staff are the best! My husband and I really enjoy the crispy egg rolls and the chicken pad see eu. Don’t let this gem leave Willow Glen!

Got takeout Pad Thai from here and it was the most bland pad thai I’ve ever had. The tofu was fishy tasting, the chicken tasted old and the noodles had almost no flavor. I ended up having to order a second dinner from somewhere else because I couldn’t stomach this.
