Great food and service first time Sampler with different sauces cucumber sauce Tommy surprise was my favorite Basil chicken with medium heat had just the right amount of heat Drunken noodles and udon Everyone loved their food
It's a small place, but step inside and suddenly you’re in a parallel universe where everything is friendly, spotless, and smells like pure happiness sautéed in a wok. The place is so clean you could probably perform minor surgery on the tables, though I recommend eating instead because the food is ridiculously good. The curry tastes like it was handcrafted by someone who meditates over lemongrass. The noodles are so perfectly cooked they should have their own fan club. Even the fried rice is suspiciously good—like, “why is this rice better than my entire week” good. It’s friendly, it’s tiny, it’s clean, and the food is so amazing you’ll consider gatekeeping it from your friends. But don’t. Or do. I won’t judge.
As you may note, we love checking out Thai restaurants when we travel. Thai Spice was one of the hidden gems we’ve occasionally found. The Nam Prik Dang was one of the signs we were in the right place. Everything from the complimentary spring roll to the Thai Basil Chicken was delicious. The staff were awesome as well. We would definitely return when in the area.
Thai Spice is a charming, cozy spot with attentive and friendly staff who make you feel right at home. We started with the dumplings, which were filled with pork and shrimp. OMG—they were absolutely delicious, with a perfect balance of flavors. For the main dishes, we shared the Yellow Curry with beef and the Basil Fried Rice with chicken, both at a medium spice level. The Yellow Curry stole the show with its rich, balanced coconut flavor infused with just the right amount of heat. It was incredibly satisfying and flavorful. The Basil Fried Rice was also enjoyable, though it could have used a bit more seasoning for my taste as it was slightly bland compared to other versions I’ve tried. Still, it was tasty and well-prepared. Overall, the experience was fantastic, and we would definitely
