Thai Mama

We were on vacation visiting New Jersey and decided to try Thai Mama, and we’re so glad we did. The food was incredible—honestly, we haven’t had Thai food this good in a long time. My favorite dish was the Khao Soi. It’s my favorite Thai dish and it’s not always offered at Thai restaurants. This one was so flavorful and was perfect on a cold day. My husband also enjoyed his Pad See Ew. We’re both vegetarian and really appreciated the variety of tofu options available. I also loved the lychee tea that came with chunks of lychee — it was so tasty. The service was also great; everyone was so kind and nice. We will make sure to come back every time we’re back in the area.

My first time visiting Thai Mama and I was not disappointed! Lindsay was our server and she offered outstanding service. The food was flavorful and delicious. Everything was served with love. I had the green curry with crispy duck it was amazing. The curry puffs were DELICIOUS, light and fluffy. I will be back !!!!

We visited on a Monday afternoon and enjoyed a wonderfully quiet atmosphere. The hostess was welcoming, and the restaurant itself has a lovely, small, cozy feel. The Drunken Noodles were amazing! The spice level 3 was absolutely perfect.

So glad we found this hidden gem! The food here is amazing! We ordered 5 dishes: Chicken satay, Papaya salad, Tom ka, Pad see ew, and Yellow curry. All 5 dishes were perfectly seasoned and have good portions. The servers are really nice and checked on us every 15 minutes. Service is super quick. We couldn’t find many good Thai restaurants in New Jersey but this place changed our perspective! Will definitely come back to try more dishes!

Stopped by this Thai restaurant because of all great reviews. The menu is small, but has your traditional Thai dishes. I had the Tom Ka soup to start, and I loved the creamy coconut flavor. For dinners we had the pineapple fried rice and the Pad Thai. The pineapple fried was AMAZING! Im definitely coming back for that dish! The Pad Thai was good, but I like mine more sweeter. I recommend Thai Mama in Cranford!
