The food here is soooooo Good 👌 I been costumer since 5 years ago and the quality still amazing. I really recommend it. And the ambient is just really nice, I feel I'm Alice in Wonderland 😅 I got the lunch special for 20$ dollar on a Thursday. I didn't wait anything to get a table at this time 12:45pm. Was really quick, affordable and Delicious !
Thai Chef Street Food in DC is a fantastic spot with bold flavors and a lively vibe. I had a great experience from start to finish. The papaya salad was incredibly fresh, crisp, and perfectly balanced with tangy spice. The glazed tofu was another standout—rich, savory, and full of flavor. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere made the meal even better. A must try for anyone craving authentic Thai street food. Been here few times and never disappointed....
Thai Chef Street Food is a decent, casual spot in Dupont Circle. Two people ate for a little over $60 (before tip) and left very full. The crabmeat fried rice was excellent and the only dish I’d strongly recommend. The kapaw was disappointing, and both the chicken satay and tom yum were just average. Overall, it’s an okay American-style Thai restaurant—not bad, not amazing.
This place has some amazing and affordable Thai food. Their wait staff is fast and friendly, and they have a great $20 lunch special. I would highly suggest their chive cakes and their som tam. The ambiance is very warm and welcoming, they have interesting art on the walls. Ira a great place to pop in and have lunch.
Tried this place on a whim with my wife and I'm glad we did. Mostly great food - the veggie curry puffs are akin to samosas but the dipping sauce makes it 10x better. The fried rice was refreshingly delicious. The BKK wings are marked as spicy on the menu but they were very sweet. This is the only reason for 4 stars & not 5. The portion (~5 wings) was sufficient for me. My wife also liked the Thai tea. Service was prompt and courteous. Servers were very attentive and we were tended to very quickly and efficiently. The restaurant's vibe is very fantasy-like. I liked the major piece (photographed) and the seating arrangements. They also have an upstairs section. One thing to note is that the restroom is upstairs so if you have limited mobility, this will be a concern.
