The food was delicious. We frequent Thai restaurants and this one would rank in the top 10% easy for us. The dishes were cooked beautifully. Spicy level was good. We enjoyed chicken satay, chicken lo mien (had a little spiciness to it), noodle soup, basil chicken stir fry and massaman curry. The dishes did come out one at a time over about 10 minutes rather than all at once. Restaurants seemed clean but definitely dated but food was good. I would definitely come here again butaybe just get it to-go. This would off set the price also. Most dishes are $15-20 a piece but portions were large.
We visited this Thai restaurant based on its strong reviews, but our experience was a bit underwhelming overall. That said, if you’re looking for a Thai food option in Rock Springs, it’s still worth considering—especially for a few standout items. We started with the Crab Rangoon, which was solid and satisfying—crispy on the outside and creamy inside, just as you’d hope. My wife ordered the Pad Thai, and it was the highlight of the meal. It had great flavor and texture—she found it slightly on the sweet side, but I thought it was just right. I chose the Yellow Curry with beef, and unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. The curry lacked the rich, creamy texture I associate with coconut milk-based curries. We had read in another review that the restaurant may use regular milk in
Reviews don’t lie - you need to come here. Yes it’s true, at an altitude of 6,200 feet in a town of only 23,000 you can get Thai food right up there with the best in the world. Both drunken noodles and pad Thai are amazing. Fast, fresh, friendly - everything you could want. All the locals must know about it because they seem to do a very brisk take out business in addition to dine in.
In town passing through to Denver. The outside looks sketchy and you may second guess going in due to few cars in the parking lot. However I would suggest you not pass up the opportunity. The Pho is great. The fried dumplings are awesome and the orange chicken is superb. My only complaint…… really about the world as well is the price. It’s going to cost more than McDonalds for a family of six.
We had the green curry chicken and basil chicken. Both were absolutely delicious. The ambience is lacking, but don’t let that keep you from dining here.
