Thai Basil

Grew up in Oakleaf & have been ordering takeout from this business with my mother since I was 13 years old… and I’m just shy of 30 now. I don’t even live in Oakleaf anymore, but I still take 23 down to pick up from here. Thank you for over 15 years of great service & Chinese/Thai fusion takeout.

I wished I had read the reviews on the the chicken pad thai. I have been eating chicken pad Thai for years, but I have never had chicken pad Thai that resembled heavily SOAKED lo mein. Other than that, the environment was nice and customer service was nice.

We have ordered from Thai basil several times, the pad thai was to spicy to eat today, very disappointed.

Place has been inconsistent over the years I've eaten here, but recently quality has been excellent (at least in comparison to other similar spots). Don't order Thai items expecting the same Thai food from Thai restaurants. I find myself enjoying the Thai menu, but I have to keep an open mind as the dishes are named the same but completely different in taste to what I am used to. The Chinese menu is solid, again in comparison to other places nearby. I went from going once every other year just to be disappointed, to going once a month or more.

Was not a fan of their food. Will keep searching for good Chinese food.
