Text Behind Connecting Relationship

I hope no other prison or jail will contract with this service. All our Christmas mail to North Carolina prisoners has been returned. We are a ministry, but the mail was sent out from many volunteers throughout the country. They obviously want electronic only mail but that is not possible with us. PA did this years ago (Smart Comminications) and there has not been a problem. Text Behind needs to change their operation, the mail and also they do not respond to my complaint and help us fix the issue. Snail mail has to be accepted.

It is easier to send letters to inmates. They get it within two days of sending. If you mail them letters the letters most likely will not get to the inmate and if they do get the letter its takes over two weeks for them to get it. And after signing up for TextBehind I get all kinds of Spam texts from all different phone numbers and have to block them.

I find that a company that is making good money off of the Wisconsin DOC has failed in the quality of service they promised. They choose to shrink items sent by loved ones to inmates. They shrink and add pages and combine them on to one page. A Christmas card sent that measured 3.5 X 5 inches was shrunken down to 1 X 2 inches. Why??? Your job is to make copies NOT pick and choose how to change an inmates mail. This will be documented and reported to the DOC. Your service is unacceptable and lacks the compassion needed for the delivery of this service for inmates.

I have used this app a little over 2 years. It's an amazing app if you have someone currently incarcerated in the US. It's super easy to set up and use. Prices are also very reasonable. Have recommended TextBehind to many people and will continue to do so!

I have sent six letters to my son in Wisconsin and they have all returned. My son isn't even recognized as being incarcerated. Yet he is. This is so lame! I can't even Imagine what my son Must be thinking... That I Nor his daughter are writing to him... This really burns me up.
