I’m absolutely in love with the Big Tex Bacon Cheeseburger. This has got to be the best burger I’ve had in many years. The menu shows a good variety of other types of burgers as well. My son ordered the Chicken tenders and he was equally impressed with the quality and size of his meal. Staff here are super friendly and very helpful when it comes time to deciding what to order. This was our first time visiting and no doubt we will be back again real soon. I’m even willing to drive from over an hour away (even if I am not passing through) just to eat here again. Highly recommend this place to everyone! 10 out of 10

I'm visiting Blanco and decided to give this place a try. The food was excellent, and the beer selection was good. I had the smoked brisket sandwich and tater tots. The brisket was tender, and the barbecue was just tangy enough for my liking. The tater tots were freshly made and not soggy like some restaurants. The beers I chose were very different from each other. The best of the 4 by far was a surprise to me after reading the description. El Hefe had a full flavor, good fizz, and a nice smooth finish. Who knew banana and clove would taste great in a beer!? I even left with a growler to take home! My second was the Canon Stout. The flavor was bold, with good chocolate overtones. Love the atmosphere and look of the place. Beers were alright but a little light for my taste - we sampled 8 different ones and felt they were all light. The big surprise was the food. Queso and salsa were both excellent. Green chili white queso that was creamy and flavorful and didn’t get gelatinous. We split the double meat Big Tex bacon burger and it was also very good. The killer for me was the fries. I’m NOT a fry eater, one or two is enough for me. These fries were so good I could have eaten an entire basketful by myself! Golden brown and crisp exterior with a soft fluffy inside. These are 5 star chef fries!!

First time at this brewery. I had a Rio Rojo and my husband had the Cannon Hazy. I was skeptical because the description mentioned pine. You couldn't tell it had pine. Very smooth and tasty. Both were very good. We split the smokey brisket sandwich and it was delicious. The staff was prompt and very nice and chatty! The food came out quickly and was hot and fresh. We will be back for more when we are in the area.
