Not the best atmosphere, the place is kinda grimy and the staff is lacking...however my daughter loves the seafood pots and I will say the gumbo is really good... it's a so so place.

(Appetizer) Fried Okra $5.99 Need to sprinkle salt to your taste. Crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside. Just great. New York Strip & Shrimp (3) $22.99 Side salad & baked potatoe 🥗 Great side salad no dressing needed just garnish with a squeeze of fresh lemon and a pinch of salt, a classic and simple way to enhance the flavor of the greens. 🥔 Good size loaded potatoe, contains butter & shredded cheese 🧀. 🥩 New York Strip ( medium rare) contained a misterios seasoning which didn't help the steak at all. The meat was tough and was brought in a searing hot plate. The steak was not allowed to rest. Fish (2) + Frog Legs (2) $12.99 Side salad & coleslaw 🥗 "". Coleslaw, about ¼ cup. Soo... I'm just another trucker passing through, and got lucky in my choice for a place to eat.. OMG the ribeye steak was soooo good and those veggies had me going in!! Definitely coming back here and I highly recommend it!!

Food was good and fair priced, waitress was very friendly, fast service. Shrimp and scallops came out with no cocktail sauce and the presentation was bad. This place puts the hole in hole-in-the-wall. If the dining area looks like it did then I wonder what the food prep area looks like? I guess I'm spoiled with the restaurants in the big cities (Houston).

1500 miles into our Texas road trip we happened across this unassuming road side eatery. - New York strip & Baked Potato - Ribeye and Shrimp Easily the best steak we have had so far in West Texas, better than a couple of steak chains. Service was excellent and the staff charming and attentive. 5 stars from the British travellers x
