This review is LONG OVERDUE!!!! I have been coming to the amazing restaurant some what regularly since 2019 and the service and quality of the food is still just as amazing as it was the first time I came. There really aren’t many GREAT SOUL FOOD spots in NYC especially not in the BX in fact this is the only 1 in the Bronx I will eat at. They by far have THEE BEST BAKED TURKEY WINGS I’ve ever had in life. And for those of you who are vegetarian there are plenty of options for you as well. Mainly the collard greens which are made without mean and it’s soooo well seasoned to. Oh and the Potato Salad is also A1 🙌🏽 and I usually don’t like anybody’s potato salad but my grandmothers. Definitely check this place out not matter how far travel may be it’s DEFINITELY worth it. ☝🏽

I enjoy the food but the service is horrible. Open online closed irl, you call & she’s not even in the actual store “she has to grocery shop” for the items on the menu. Very disconnected & discombobulating. Then when I called I got a poor attitude over the phone so just be mindful before ordering

Okay, Let’s tawk about this meal. Absolutely DELICIOUS. The chicken was well well seasoned, the yams were perfect and the Mac and cheese was great! The perfect example of Soul food right here in the Bronx! I always order from here but tonight’s order was something to post about. Ms Tessy!! And crew Thank you for the wonderful food! I’ll definitely will be back again of course!!

Wanted some soul food and I was on my way to another spot, but decided to look up something closer and this was it first time here it’s close to where I live. I went in with my dad and my daughter and ordered some food. My dad got beef ribs, mac & cheese rice and he loved it. I got my son barbecue chicken, mac & cheese and yams and he loves it. I got myself oxtails mac & cheese with cabbage and I loved it. My dad also got a side order of collard greens, cabbage, and some oxtails and he loved all of that as well. I am definitely going back to try the turkey wings, Rice and peas and collard greens and probably some banana pudding. I’m not sure if it was pricey or not because my dad paid for it!! love him so much 🤗, but I was not disappointed and I am happy I changed my mind and went to This

You must try this place!!!!! From the friendly customer service down to the food is 100/10. My boyfriend order the jerk chicken, Mac and cheese and sweet yams and it was absolutely delicious! I had the oxtails with Mac and cheese and yams and when i tell you it was hitting the spot we were basically eating with our eyes closed. The food was so flavorful, and you can taste the love it was prepared. And for dessert we had the last of the banana puddling and i am so happy i did! A MUST TRY! You will not regret eating here! The portions are also huge.
