Terrapin Hostel

I love staying in this type of places when I come to New England for my annual fall trip. I always end up getting the best sleep of the year. Dark starry skies, chilly nights, cozy room in a safe environment. Terrapin hostel did not disappoint. The house was lovely with a nostalgic vibe. It was like being back in my family home in rural Spain. The standard double room was cozy and the bed was comfy. The shared bathroom was spacious and stocked with plenty of towels. Check in was easy. I got an email with instructions the day before and a text on the day of with the door code and room number. Some breakfast items were provided in the kitchen. Parking out front is convenient and has space for 4-5 cars. I wish I could have stayed longer. Instagram: soni.gallego

Such a lovely place to spend the night, and its right in the center of the cutest little town. I was happily surprised to see a full kitchen available to use with a number of breakfast foods for cooking. We will definitely stay here again.

We had a great time staying at the Terrapin Hostel! We loved the cozy atmosphere and communication with the owners. It was easy to access and was located right in Kingsfield close to restaurants and shops. Thank you, we will definitely come back :)

This hostel was an amazing find. The hostel is pretty much hands off. We met with the manager who showed us our rooms and left us a number if we needed anything. It was like living in your own house - and your house is super cool! Really loved this stay - the rooms were great, billiards after dinner, and a lively breakfast in the AM.
