4.0? Yall crazy. I came alone on a Wednesday afternoon in January. I was one of two tables in the dining room, but there were some more people in the bar. The server came right over. The server spoke Spanish, and was attentive which is a good sign. My skinny margaritas were also strong. They also have 32oz margaritas which is hard to find nowadays. However, that’s where the good stops. The front page of the menu was super faded and impossible to read in some places. I ordered a “sopa de pollo” chicken soup ($11.99) It was mostly bland broth and veggies. However, it was piping hot, almost too hot too eat. My entree was the “chicken street tacos” ($15.75). I asked for black beans and received refried. The rice and beans were bland. The tacos were all bland. It came with some hot sauce, b
Great music, ambient is ideal, just perfect for the family, friends and a laid back date. Try the “papas locas” with steak as an entry, the carnitas street tacos are delicious as the carnitas are tender and tasty. The burrito bowl with steak hits the spot as it feels very fresh. The margaritas are made to your like, with the tequila of your choosing. Tried the flan and I was amazed on how delicious it was, it was the right texture, different from many other Mexican places, this one is just done perfect, not that Smokey caramel from other restaurants.
I recently went there on 2/21/26 with my sister for lunch and was very disappointed with my experience. The service was fine, food was ok but the most disappointing part of visiting this restaurant after being there before was the fact that after I done eating I went to the restroom and to my surprised while I was there a staff member from the kitchen went in there as well used the restroom and in front of me walked out without washing his hands and went back to the kitchen since I walked out right after he did when I saw him going back to the kitchen where my food came from. I complained to the waitress and all she said ' I will speak to the manager ' after apologizing. Never did she offer to take at least a discount on my meal. I was even more disappointed when she never made an effort
Booth we got was a bit tight on both sides. Manager came out and atleast stopped it from rocking. Everything got better from there. Waitress ( kathleen) was very polite and attentive. Food! Amazing!! While we were talking about the spiciness of the sauces the manager brought out house made hot sauce. A total winner. The manager (Chris) was all over the floor, talking to customers, helping the waitestaff and solving any issue he saw. Hands down the best manager I have ever seen! I hope the owner sees this and acknowledges Chris's hard work!! Thank you for a great meal!
First time visit since they opened. Went at lunchtime and there were very few people there. Contrary to other reviews, our waiter was great - very cordial and very attentive. Atmosphere was okay but it is VERY open and seems like it could be very noisy when it is busy. Food was average - I ordered tacos because there was no regular quesadilla on the menu other than a grand one with rice and beans in it. Taco meat was good, but they were only served with onion and cilantro - no other toppings (lettuce, tomato or sour cream). Rice was bland, beans were fine. Portions were plentiful. Was very disappointed there was no lunch menu and had to pay full meal prices at lunchtime. I would have preferred a smaller portion for less money. Meal came to $50 with only ice tea to drink and no appetizers o
