Ordered Bahn Xeo and although it was an interesting dish I had never tried before, it was disappointing overall. The crisp shell was nice but the shrimp and pork filling was unseasoned and way over cooked. The pork was so tough and dry you could not bite through it. Also, quantity of food is small for a $20 lunch, was still hungry after these.
Tensevenrolls used to be at Blossom Market Hall but unfortunately due to leasing issues, they had to relocate to a more quiet area. I don't mind this since there's plenty of parking. This was our first time trying it and we came because of the promotion we saw on SGV eats. Taste: The garlic noodles are very good and it was worth it to pay extra for the meat. The grilled chicken was very smoky and flavorful. The shrimp was cooked perfectly as well. Their garlic noodles beats the ones from Nguyens Kitchen/Soup Shop. We also tried the lychee slush and che drink. Lychee slush was refreshing for this 109 degree weather. Normally, I'm not a fan of che but this one is really good because it didn't have red bean which is normally dislike. It had pieces of lychee, jackfruit, and jelly in coconut
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Tensevenrolls Vietnamese restaurant, a family owned establishment located inside the Blossom Market Hall food court in San Gabriel. After hearing great things about this place on Yelp, I was excited to finally have the chance to try it out. Upon arrival, I was greeted with quick and friendly service. I decided to order the papa meal, which included two crunchy egg rolls, four banh cuons, and one spring roll with lettuce and mint leaves. The food was incredibly authentic and delicious, and I could tell that the restaurant takes pride in using fresh and quality ingredients. One thing that really impressed me was the owner's dedication to preserving family recipes. The banh cuon recipe used at Tensevenrolls has been passed down through generations, wh
I was curious to try this place after reading a second location had opened. We had a take out order of egg rolls and spring rolls and both were really inedible. The egg rolls were burned dark brown and the lettuce in the spring rolls was rotten. I was so disappointed.
My first visit and I’ll definitely be back! The Pho was delicious-the broth had a slight smokey flavor because the thin slices of meat is SMOKED! Genius! The egg rolls are large and crispy with a delicious dunking sauce. The service takes a bit of time (be patient!) because everything is made to order…and worth the wait!
