Big thanks for bringing authentic Nepali street food to the streets of DC! Everything was spot on, the flavors, freshness etc. Just a heads-up there’s no seating area, but luckily there are tons of microbreweries nearby that let you bring your own food. Perfect combo! Cheers 🥟 🍻

I got the vegan chowmein and WOW. it is delicious!! Tofu never tasted so good. The person who took my order and handed me the food was so friendly. He said it would take 10 minutes but it only took 4. Best quickest dinner ever!

Tried this place for the first time last night and it was delicious!!! We got the following and will definitely be ordering again sooner than later! 💛💛 steamed chicken momo Juju dhau lassi (good to combat spicy things) 💛 Mango lassi 💛 Panipuri Sukuti chowmein buffalo (good but spicy!) 💛 Sausage chili rice bowl 💛💛💛Mushroom skewer (probably my fave thing) 💛 chicken skewer

I probably went at the worst time to try the full menu. It was around 7.30PM during thr H St. festival and it was incredibly busy around the restaurant. They had a limited menu because of the festival. I got fried momo and they were good. I'm doing 5 start at the moment but I'll have to go back and try the chatpate and other items on a different day.

I stopped by Tempo Shack on H St and wow… this place is such a gem. The food tastes home-made and packed with flavor. The steamed momos were juicy and perfectly seasoned, and the chili momos had that amazing spicy-tangy kick without being overpowering. Their chowmein took me straight back to street stalls in Kathmandu — smoky, savory, and addictive.
