Have always wanted to try this cute, cozy soul food spot and I finally did ! No disappointment at all . The young lady who took my order was sooo nice and sweet . I got the chicken sandwich …. Yams , collard greens and also corn bread and sweet potato pie 🤦🏾‍♀️ lol everything was sooo delicious. My boyfriend tore up that sandwich.. when it’s warmer I def want to dine in 🤍

Neat spot in the small town of Oxford, Pa. Came based on previous reviews, and we received prompt and friendly service in a clean, nicely decorated, smaller restaurant. We tried multiple dishes, including the sampler, fried catfish platters with sides, and the shrimp and grits. Everything was fresh, hot, and delivered within a very respectable amount of time. We were pleasantly surprised with the delicious cornbread, in a smaller cast iron skillet, hot out of the oven and sprinkled with brown sugar and drizzled with honey 🍯 😋 We will 100% be back and I highly recommend checking this soul food spot out. We drove 48 minutes, and it was worth every second!

EVERYTHING was good! I wanted to stop eating to write this review. We found this place after visiting a nearby Zoo. Everyone enjoyed their food. My 6 y/o was please with her wings/fries. She even started eating from our plates. The cornbread is complimentary when dining in, and I should have ordered one to go. The vibe and music was great and the staff was friendly. The owner is welcoming and made sure we were enjoying the food. Thank u for exceptional service and food!

I ate here a few months back, my mom just moved to the area so she brought us here because she had heard amazing things from locals. We’re going back tonight and bringing my boyfriend for the first time because we have done nothing but rave about how amazing it was! I had the ribs and when I tell you they were the best ribs I’ve ever had, I’m not exaggerating. Same goes for the Mac and cheese! The best I’ve ever had! Staff was amazing and friendly, we appreciated the owner and cooks coming out to ask us how we liked everything. I live an hour and some change away and honestly it’s probably better that way because if I were more local, I’d be eating here every single day and going broke. So we are very excited to be making the trip up there tonight to enjoy it again! I have not stopped thin

Man oh man where do I begin....first of all can we talk about crazy good this cornbread is😀 and it's on The house. I ordered fried catfish with yams and macaroni, also been craving shrimp and grits.....so I ordered it. The shrimp and grits was enough to be a meal in itself,it was amazing and hot,flavors on point. The cook was extremely humble and kind ,he let me know in advance that my fish wasn't quite ready and sorry for the inconvenience. Listen I almost forgot about that fish because I was tearing that cornbread and grits up lol .Needless to say ,that fish was so good and flaky,the texture was magnificent. 10/10 Staff was great,everyone greeted US.
