If you’re looking for a place to eat, want to do some work, relax, and grab a bite to eat, Teaism restaurant is the place for you. The music adds a nice little taste of culture and the level of noise stayed pretty moderate. There is both upstairs and downstairs seating and the tables with the lightning gave off a friendly vibe. The chicken bento I ordered came without much wait and I got a generous portion in it. It came with rice, chicken, chicken sauce, sauced broccoli, and sauced fried veggies. If I get the privilege to come here again, I would like to explore the menu variety a bit more.

Ordered takeout from Teaism after enjoying a great lunch there recently, and it didn’t disappoint. I went with the broccoli tots, which is always a dependable favorite with that seasoned ranch. I decided to try something new: the Korean Beef sandwich. Flavorful, a little messy, and the Thai basil added a bright, unexpected touch. I also ordered the butterfly pea yuzu lemonade, which was delicious and stunning. When butterfly pea flower hits citrus, it shifts from blue to a gorgeous purple-pink, and this drink delivered that moment perfectly. The only downside was the missing napkins and utensils, even though I requested them in the notes. My colleague ordered broccoli tots and a lentil soup she enjoyed (a bit spicy!), but her order arrived without a spoon. Even with the hiccup, Teaism r

My partner and I happened to stumble upon Teaism while we were visiting DC, and we were pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere and the quality of the food and tea. We were recommended the hojicha green tea by the staff member who saw we were struggling to make a decision, and it smelled amazing and was not overwhelming or too light. Perfect way to warm up after walking around DC in cold weather! The food was spectacular. I got the Thai chicken curry, and my partner got the udon dish with shrimp. The curry was the most delicious dish I have had in a very long time. It was very fragrant, and the flavors were so rich. I loved the balance of protein and veggies. My partner really enjoyed the udon as well. The soup was tasty without being overwhelming. I personally thought it was a little ligh

I periodically stop in to buy looseleaf tea from Teaism’s Tea Shop, and thought I’d try their restaurant and have tea for a change. It is my first time stopping in their restaurant, and thought it would be nice to have breakfast with my Wuyi Tea — an oolong tea. They’re just opening for the day — I’m the only one here — so I opted to dine-in. I decided to have the Coriander Scrambled Eggs with Tea Cured Salmon. I was greeted at the counter and placed my order. The food is cooked so your wait time is like that of a casual diner, which is a notch up from fast-food prep. I opted to dine-in and went to sit down. This was my first time eating here, so I did not know they do not bring the food to your table — the counter person does not tell you the process. You just figure it out when yo

Great service and good food as always. I tried the Korean bbq sandwich this time. The bread veggies and sauce were perfect. The issue was the beef. It was very dry and there was barely any of it. They bunched it up in the middle and it was not across the sandwich. I won’t order this again but I will order other foods. My friend had the French toast and loved it.
