Taylor Hill Lodge

Happened to find this while searching google maps on somewhere to stay in the area and I’m so glad I did! It is the most quaint location, bed and breakfast type stay. The house is immaculate and spacious. There were others staying there but you couldn’t notice when in your room. The views of the Iowa farms are beautiful and it was so nice to sit out back! Ann the Inn keeper was a gem! She was so kind and helpful with the area! Her breakfast was amazing especially her homemade jam! Thank you for making our stay great! What a treat to stay here and highly recommend!

My friends and I have been having a weekend getaway here for over 10 years. Always warmly welcomed, with spotless rooms, relaxing atmosphere and tasty food.

Perfect balance of personal attention and privacy from the innkeeper, Ann. The property is charming and homey, and I love the patio. My room was very comfortable and quiet. I'll be back. I came by myself this time, but it is also a great place to stay with a group.

A cozy and comfortable home away from home! Our team called Taylor Hill Lodge home during a recent work retreat and we all agreed it was the best one yet! We loved how cozy it was with the fireplace and Christmas decor. We enjoyed meeting together as a team in the large living room, with plenty of comfortable seating options, eating meals at the large dining room table, and having a variety of private sleeping options to choose from. The complimentary refreshments in the refrigerator and breakfast in the morning were such nice, thoughtful touches. We can’t wait to come back when it's warmer and use the outdoor patio as well. We are already talking about coming back for next year’s retreat!

Our family has stayed at Taylor Hill many times. Most recently, we had a family reunion there and got excellent reviews from all the participants. Comfortable bedrooms, lounging area, eating area (seats LOTS) and patio. The innkeeper is outstanding...available if we have questions, need something or require a quick repair. Our family has gathered here for our Christmas for many years. There is a great space upstairs for games, cards, or a craft project. I have stayed there when I need to make a quick trip to Audubon on business and find it to be so relaxing. It is so peaceful sitting on the patio in the evening either by yourself or with a group.
