When my family of three dined at Taverna Sorrentina, it immediately felt like more than just another night out. From the moment we walked in, the restaurant was buzzing with that special energy you only feel when you’re somewhere people are genuinely excited to be. It’s the kind of place that works just as well for a date night as it does for a celebration, and we saw plenty of both happening around us. The food presentation alone is worth the visit. Every dish looked thoughtfully composed, not rushed, and everything tasted as good as it looked. The pastas were beautifully plated, the cocktails felt festive, and you can tell there’s real pride behind each dish. What really stood out was the overall experience. Celebrated a friend's Bday. Social media hyped Taverna up. The place had a nice vibe with nice decor, staff very professional. The drinks were unique but our food was a flop. The pics on line looked amazing, but the experience fell short, very underwhelming. Charcuterie board had more fruit and nuts than cheese or meat; all entries came out luke warm: as thought they had been sitting for a while before they were served; my dish needed salt for flavor. The tiramisu made table side was a disappointment, it looked better on the social media video than it tasted. I looked forward to the meal all day and left disappointed. I hope others had or have a better food experience than we had. Oh I forgot to add, the bread and butter was very good!

Rosario and his partners have raised the standard for dining in Downtown Danville. Menu was exceptional from the day they opened, consistency and attention to detail are unmatched. Service is outstanding and the ambiance is 5star. I am so happy he chose our town for this culinary vision. Wishing Rosario and his team long success here. Kim Holmes.

We had the most amazing time! The setting is perfect with lights and cozy blankets on the patio. The service was impeccable and the food was devine. Wonderful attention to our food allergies and attentive care to our younger family members. What a memorable evening! Thank you!
