Customer Reviews
Set aside some time to look for parking - in this area of Edison Park, it's difficult to find a spot, especially during dinner time. Because we know the area, we parked in the neighborhood behind the playground (and it's FREE), and walked across it to get to the restaurant. I'm glad I was able to make a reservation at Tavern on the Point - upon our arrival, we saw cute glammed-up girls with their dads having dinner prior to their Father/Daughter Dance. Despite the busy-ness of the restaurant, the service was on point. Our server (Brandy..?) was very friendly, polite, and professional, and made sure to check up on me and my husband during our dinner. The ambience had a warm vibe with dim mood lighting, yet energetic with flat-screened TVs around the restaurant and a moderate noise level fro
Top pick! Worthy of the price! Apps (Brussels sprouts & meatballs) were great; lamb & ribeye were out of this world delicious!! Raspberry cheesecake was good, but not as fantastic as dinner!
Have been here for both breakfast and dinner first time customer visiting in the area hoping to move locally. John owner is very kind and welcoming. Bob is extremely kind and constantly caring for his patrons. Tom and Jason were excellent bartenders. Very balanced drinks and nice establishment. Read some reviews saying the Caesar salad is too “fishy?” For whoever posted that please understand that a Caesar salad is traditionally anchovy forward in flavor profile. The salad is excellent and correct and has high quality cheese 10/10. If you don’t like a traditional Italian Caesar salad you can go to Applebees in Hammond IN.
This is definitely a great venue to have any type of function at the second floor is ideal as a bar has an event space add music and people you got a great time! Staff is super accommodating and very friendly.
I love ordering from here because they make a great burger. However, they don’t read what I order. This isn’t the first time, but when I order, I always select “No Pickles” and make an addition comment saying “no pickles”, but they STILL put the pickle. I don’t know how to be more clear. Edit: Just checked and also no bacon. Thanks for that too.
