Tavern On The Hill

Another great find while we were out cruising on the bike Saturday afternoon. My husband and I both had the pulled pork with chips and onion rings and the food was great especially for the price. The sauces were delicious and so was the Coleslaw that had a nice little tang. Unfortunately we don't live that close or we would pop in for taco Tuesday and trivia on Wednesday. The outdoor tented area is also really nice to sit out in the open air.

Best BBQ in CT, hidden away in a small spot like this, with a nice welcoming feeling. Everything was just really great. And a free billiard table for fun and drinks!

The name is tavern on the hill. It is not on a hill. If it was on the hill it would be on the slope of a hill. The name should be Tavern On Top Of The Hill because the building is on top of the hill. One of their signs are on the hill, so they could change the name to sign on the hill. But I'm not gonna write a good review unless they change their name so they're not lying. (hate this place)

Been here twice this week.... very good brisket the chilli is very awesome best I've had out in a long time...staff is on their game...flat screens on every wall...not crowded

The brisket was like an over cooked chuck roast, it probably was an over cooked chuck roast. The mash, mac and cheese and grilled cornbread were all decent. Fried chicken was also decent, not over cooked.
