Tava House Restaurant

Tava House is a great place in Los Angeles. We came here because it was recommended to us by our friends. I visited it with my friends on January 25. There were four of us. Two of my friends ordered pork, served with rice, pita bread, hummus, and salad. Everything was very tasty. I ordered beef with rice, hummus, salad, and pita bread. I love meat, but I am very picky about taste, and it is hard for me to find places in the U.S. where meat is cooked well and is good quality. Here, I liked everything. The beef was very soft and tender, with well-balanced spices. I also really liked the rice. It was flavorful and went perfectly with the meat. The hummus was fresh and went very well with all the dishes. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, which made our experience even better. Unfortun

Brought the family up to Glendale to explore their Armenian roots and heritage. Stopped here for lunch and was blown away by how good the food was! The owner's wife was really helpful in explaining the different dishes and helping pick a few things out to try family style.

I burst into tears after the very first bite — I didn’t expect that at all. It brought me back to my childhood in a split second. I used to eat this food with my grandpa. I’m not sure what spices they use, because nothing looks extraordinary, but the taste is absolutely amazing — juicy and perfectly balanced. The best Armenian food I’ve ever tried in Los Angeles. It turns out the cook has over 40 years of experience. I WILL BE BACK!! No… WE will be back w friends and family !! Thank you !!!

I really enjoy the food! The short rib special was delicious and the basil drink was fresh, organic and tasted great. Clean place. I highly recommend and would go back. Came here after a movie at the Americana and happy I did.

The chicken was incredibly moist and juicy, and the lule kabob was perfectly seasoned and cooked. The sauces were fantastic and complemented everything nicely. You can really taste the care in the food. Definitely support this wonderful mom-and-pop shop!
