Tatte Bakery & Cafe - Back Bay was recommended in so many articles while I was researching places to try in Boston, and now I totally understand why. I visited the Back Bay location a couple of times during my trip. It does get busy and it can be pricey but the food is absolutely worth it. The sesame seed coffee kept me coming back (so unique and so good). I also had the Egg in the Hole two fried eggs nestled in a sesame Jerusalem bagel, served with a chopped salad and OMG that bagel was incredible. So fresh, flavorful, and perfectly textured. The indoor is beautiful elegant and cozy. I’m honestly sad I won’t be eating it again anytime soon… unless I fly back to Boston
The morning was made better from the stellar genuine service & delicious food and lattes. A must try is the black sesame latte before it goes away! The avocado toast, croissants and oatmeal were also excellent! Thanks for the morning boost!
This place is busy and a clean table without crumbs is hard to find, but the service is good and the suggestions are on point. The cheesecake I got and the pumpkin latte is delicious. The pistachio latte is good too! Restroom was clean and the atmosphere is really nice. I love that it's a quick walk away from other good restaurants and the school of music- i heard the students playing on the way there.
The service itself was great—everyone was super nice and welcoming. Seating is okay; the stools are uncomfortable, though. The coffee, however, was average, which was disappointing. The food was alright. I had an almond croissant, and it was a bit hard. I also had a sausage breakfast sandwich. I liked everything but the sausage. Overall, it was OK. I don’t think I’ll be returning.
I can't figure out why this doesn't have a higher rating?? We had so many excellent things at the cafe. Starting with the shakshuka! It was a beautiful presentation and tasted just as good. The bakery items we tried were also exceptional. We will definitely go back. How can we get a location in Denver??
