Tatemados Tacos al Carbon

Friendly dude running the cashier. Cool vibes, and I was absolutely blown away by the food. I had the green chile burrito and it was somthing special. I will definitely become a regular, and probably be coming back every week for their taco Tuesday deal. Looking forward to trying all the other menu items.

Today I was graciously invited in to this restaurant to try out some tacos. I was blown away by the friendliness of the owner and staff as well as by their food. The flour tortillas are fresh, chewy in all the right ways, and have incredible flavor. Their salsa bar is delicious from end to end. The Al Pastor and the Carne Asada were both delicious and came in great portions. I will definitely be coming back here anytime I’m in the mood for authentic Mexican food!

Hands down one of the best taco shops in the area!!! Tacos and quesadillas are super good and filled with plenty of meat. The flavor is flavoring. Amazing salsa bar. The staff was inviting and helpful. Can't wait to bring my family members from out of state!

New taco place in Phoenix with friendly customer service and a festive interior. The tacos however need a lot of work. The carne asada and pastor were both not seasoned well nor cut nicely making it uncomfortable to eat. Potential is there but the food needs to improve.

I’ve passed by Tatemados Tacos Al Carbon a few times and finally decided to stop in for lunch and I’m really glad I did. I was craving Mexican food, and this spot hit the mark. There’s something special about tacos al carbon, and you can really taste it here. That mesquite flavor stands out in the best way, it’s smoky, bold, and instantly takes you to that backyard cookout vibe. I ordered the carne asada burrito, which came with rice and beans inside just how I grew up eating them! It’s not like the usual taco shop that just loads up meat, guac, and salsa. This burrito felt authentic, hearty, and packed with flavor. I paired it with an horchata, and it was the perfect combo. Refreshing and smooth with just the right amount of sweetness.
