Tasty Garden

This was the nearest restaurant that was open on Christmas. We walked in and placed our order at 5:50pm. The restaurant was busy, but it wasn’t extremely busy for the holiday. I asked about my order when I noticed a couple that walked in about 15 min after me. When asked, the order had not been started. The staff cooked our food and the owner has the waitress if she had placed the sweet and sour sauce in the bag for the chicken. The waitress replied “yes” and gave me the stapled bag with our food. When I arrived at my house we were missing the sweet and sour sauce. I called to notify the restaurant and I was left on hold.

First time trying this place I ordered a spareribs and it was delicious! Has a good kick of spice in it the fried rice was perfect for the dish. Would recommend!

Ordered online for takeout and order was prepared and ready quickly. Staff was friendly. Three of the 5 orders had random large green pepper pieces added to the dishes. Some veggies were too large and didn't cook appropriately. Sauces lacked seasoning. Soups - one broth has little to no flavor as a result everything in the soup was bland as a result. Pho broth... was not pho broth... it was a light low flavor, highly salty chicken broth with no spice flavor at all. And the meat came (over) cooked rather than raw. Don't get the Pho... Crab wonton wrappers were odd maybe the oil wasn't hot enough?

I ordered delivery, Egg Foo Young with "fried" rice and crab rangoon. It definitely was NOT egg foo young! I called to say that they delivered the wrong dish and the woman said, "that's how we make it." I told her that that is not egg foo young and she hung up on me. It was awful. Never again.

This place has amazing sesame chicken! That’s all I’ve had to eat, so really all I can speak to. It comes out fast, hot, and fresh! The portions are decent and prices are reasonable for today’s market. It’s a little mom and pop place, not many people inside and is a little dingy feeling. But the food is scrumptious! Will be going again when I’m in the area.
