Tastee Zone

I’ve been coming to Tastee Zone for a few years now and really enjoy their Kavern Kaos. I was there last night and did not realize their hours had changed and they closed at 8. I walked up at 7:58 and the OPEN sign was still on. The older lady greeted me and asked what I wanted. I started to order and then she was grumbling and shaking her head, and when I asked what was wrong, she said “1 minute before I close and you want a Kavern Kaos!?!??,” in an extremely rude tone. I was shocked! I apologized profusely and explained I truly thought they closed at 9. I was starting to walk away, and she called me back over like “no, no, it’s fine, what do you want?” I should have just walked away. Clearly she still wanted to make the sale. The soft-spoken young lady was helpful for our first time here in letting us know what popular items were.

This is a really good experience. Their soft serve is delicious and wonderful on a sunny day. Their premium milkshake as seen here is massive. Two people needed to finish this. I got the banana pudding flavor but they change flavors often so check their site!

If the line trailing well into the parking lot doesn't convince you to stop, take my advice and just do yourself the favor. I'm not normally a ice cream lover, I have my favorite (German chocolate cake ice cream) but don't normally deviate. Let's just say I now have a second favorite, yummy. I enjoyed the peanut butter and chocolate milkshake, hubby devoured the swirl ice cream chocolate cookie sandwich and babygirl slurpped down the banana snow cone. We took advantage of the picnic table out front, enjoyed the gleeful exciting atmosphere as everybody ordered, the great weather and the best way to close out a Friday night!! We will be back sooner rather than later

Fruit Punch Snoball was so tasty! Topped with marshmallow for that extra savory scoop of summer deliciousness. Staff is super friendly and courteous. Great value for money.
