Used to hang here after swimming at memorial pool.........in the 80s. Food was cheap and tasted good. 40 yrs later.............wow!!!! How great childhood memories have turned to shit. Frozen beef patties, soggy gems and terrible shakes/malts. Owners obviously purchased a name and are taking advantage by producing garbage with poor quality of a classic name. 4 burgers and a malt was almost $40. Ridiculous.

Great sandwich!! Homemade soup was so yummy!! Great staff super clean and the have the best Ice Cream!! Stop by for a great treat.

I was excited to try this place, as it was a favorite of my husband's childhood. The ice cream was good. However, I was appalled at the customer service. They were out of the ice cream I ordered, but offered an alternative. When I asked if I could have a small sample of the alternate (as it was a flavor I was unsure of), it was met with a terse "no". Fine. I ordered something else. Later in our visit, my husband purchased a souvenir coffee mug for $20 and while he was purchasing it, asked for a refill of his beverage (which he had purchased earlier). "No, we don't do refills."
