Tastee Sub Shop II

I grew up in Edison and have been going to the other location for years. Now that I moved to the area I decided to try out this location. The sandwich tasted the same but the customer service was terrible. I took a few minutes to decide what I wanted and the lady behind the counter became visibly irritated. Kind of made me feel like she did not want me there. So I won’t be coming back.

We have been here for over a year and love the roast beef to death. It is never a fast food for us since sandwich here is packed with many beef slices and less sodium. Not even mention that everyone here is fast and nice. Highly highly recommend.

Iconic sub shop, has been here and serving since I was a kid. Stop with big chains joints, they don't compare to the size, quality and the bread!!!.. Toppings are always fresh and a great selection of chips to pair with any sandwiches. Definitely my top 5 places to go, with their other shop in Edison also.

Not the sub shop it used to be. My son’s salami looks way too old to be on a fresh sub, onions are sliced way too thick compared to back in the good ol days and oil and vinegar was put on the side, not the sub. Way too much lettuce- I guess that’s to hide the way the meat and cheese isn’t plentiful like it used to be. Bread is still delightful on a positive note. Haven’t come in a long time because I heard things went down hill and now I see why.

I have heard good things about this chain sub shop so had to try it. When I arrived I parked in thie small parking area. They were super busy on NYE but they moved quick. I wanted a hot sub but they didn't served hot subs except for the meatball, so I went with the turkey. I ordered the 1/2 turkey with mayo, mustard, lettuce, tomato, oil and vinegar. They had a system going so it went quick. The sub was pretty big for only a little over $6 and paid with credit. When I got home I dug in and the sub was pretty good. I would like to try the tuna next time. FYI: wheat bread is an additional cost.
