My son and I enjoyed a nice dinner here recently 12/24/2025. Myhoa was very accommodating with both my son and our meals. Assured me everything could be altered basically too for our vegan lifestyle. Ordered vegetable tempura - wouldn't again. Greasy, deep fried. But I did love the variety of vegetables. Carrots, sweet potatoe, broccoli, cauliflower, eggplant from what I could recall. My son had the Thai fried rice - no egg, but tofu instead. I had the "cashew chicken," meal - no dead animal / flesh for me. Tofu complimented that really well. Menh was the first person we met upon arrival, somewhat reserved but no issues. Cha assisted in bringing out meals from the kitchen & checked in once. Friendly staff. The portion size for the food and the amount of money as others have mentioned here
I visited Ithaca, and was recommended this place. First of all, I really liked the food. It can feel unhealthy, but the amount of spiciness and savory really was close to my likings. Who eats Thai to be healthy anyway. However, the portions were pretty small for the price. Thinking it as a restaurant in a "collegetown" I think it needs to be considering the value, as students need to eat.
One of the Thai restaurant that is open 365 days a year was something very different when the waiter told us so. We waited for some time to get seated as the restaurant was quite busy and eventually service was little late. We ordered few curries and rice - everything we tasted was good except the massaman curry which was very unusual in taste than the ones we have had. We have had much much better massaman curry in other restaurants. The pineapple fried rice was also a little let down as it was too sweet and soggy more like Indian Kashmiri Pulao. The Spring rolls, Fried Tofu , green curry, yellow curry , spicy fried rice we’re all really good.
I visited Taste of Thai in Ithaca when my son started college. It’s a well-known spot in town, so I had high expectations — but honestly, the food was just average while the prices were quite high. The portion size was okay, but the flavors lacked depth and balance compared to other Thai restaurants I’ve tried. The atmosphere was pleasant, but overall, it didn’t feel worth the price. 👉 Pros: Nice location and ambiance 🌿 👉 Cons: Overpriced and underwhelming flavors 💸
On our little stop over at Ithaca we had our dinner here. This restaurant serves amazing Thai food. Can’t comment how authentic it is but the food tasted as authentic and flavorful Thai as it could to us. We order yellow curry, spicey fried rice, spicey rad na. All of them were amazing I recommend this restaurant
