This quite little hidden gem is a must try if you're in Port Charlotte! Sandra, the owner, is also the chef. Her daily homemade soups are amazing! I loved the fresh garlic on the escargot as well! They have an incredible wine 🍷 list that you have to see for yourself! I'll definitely be returning for lunch again and bringing more friends to this wonderful place. The service was excellent 👌 and the atmosphere is charming!♡

Come to Taste Of Europe Bistro if you want to experience an authentic delicious European dinner with kind owners! The restaurant is very clean. Their food is cooked perfectly. They kindly accommodated my food allergy. I will go back! They have many regular customers.

My husband and I had a fantastic dinner here for our date night! The atmosphere is so clean, cozy, comfortable and quaint. Our server was also the owner, Michael. He was so kind, attentive, funny and accommodating. We felt right at home. For our meals we chose the Schnitzel dinner and the Bratwurst dinner. Both were authentic and oh so good!! Of course I had to start with a Dunkel beer straight from the tap. Doesn’t get much better! We can’t wait to go back! If you haven’t tried this wonderful restaurant yet, do yourself a favor and stop in!

If you want real authentic German food, then this is the place. Second time here. Today, I had rouladen. My first time I had sauerbraten. Being raised by a German mom, and frequently having these meals at home, these were exceptional and reminded me of my Mom's comfort meals.

I didn't eat there but two different people I know saud that the owner refused to honor a gift certificate from their restaurant. He told one couple that the certificate was over a year old. Well in Florida it's a law that a gift certificate does not have an expiration date. So basically this place is scamming people out of their money. I don't care how good the food is I'll NEVER eat there.....thief.
