Taste of Chicago kitchen

Wanted to like this place so bad because I love so many chicago staples. Also was told it was a black owned business so I went in support. The gentleman at the register was polite and offered 2/3 items that they were selling, so menu was very limited to what was already a small menu. The food items are a bit pricey in my opinion but for good food + great quality + great service, I dont mind. However, I got the 6 wings for $12. The breading was coming off (like when the oil isn't hot enough) and it was very greasy and rubbery. I must've had baby chicks bc the wings were pretty small. The pics i saw from their page, look nothing like what i received. Unfortunately, this place was extremely overhyped. The food quality was poor the crust was loose on the chicken, the taste was bad, and the presentation didn’t match the photos at all. The staff was also rude during my first visit, which made for a really disappointing first impression.

Got the cheeseburger very good. That gyro burger my daughter said was very good. The Italian Beef was way way too salty. We had it a week ago Friday. The beef was shaved good and the flavor would've been good if alot less salt and more Italian seasoning. I still want to try the Chicago hot dog.

Okay, First let me say I'm from Chicago and no one calls a hotdog a glizzy. It's simply called a Chicago Dog. I decided to try a HOTDOG and ordered and paid for it. After about five minutes I was curious and asked how long a wait there would be. The girl told me 25 minutes! For a HOTDOG??? When I looked through the window to the kitchen I saw why. The woman doing the orders was more interested in talking on her phone. Apparently she couldn't cook a couple of cheesburgers and make a hot dog at the same time while talking on the phone. I asked and got a refund and left without my HOTDOG.

Food was great .get the debo burger .but the tables was dirty anfmd the floor .im big of cleanliness!!!the front speak for the back but over all 9out of 10 just the food part 6 out of 10 on everything else
