Taquerí­a La Oaxaqueña

The first thing I noticed when I came inside was the merengue, bachata, and salsa music playing, which was strange to me, considering this is a Oaxacan/Mexican restaurant. Overall, however, this restaurant is one of the best Mexican restaurants I've ever been to. I ordered the pozole, which was a bit musty-tasting from all the pork fat, though it was very good otherwise; but they also offer an immense variety of other foods to the point that, had I not looked at the menu before coming, I would've found it nearly impossible to decide. I highly recommend this place, especially if you're looking for a Mexican restaurant specializing in food from Oaxaca rather than Jalisco or Michoacán like most Mexican places in Atlanta.

One of my favorite places to go to when I am in the area. I am a forever fan. This place is sooooo yummy! I always get their carne asada tacos. Very authentic and prices are reasonable. I come here like 3 times a week to get my taco fix

I used to come here all the time. The food was amazing, just as I remembered. I ordered the 1/4 chicken. It came with onions and peppers (I opted out of the peppers) as well as beans, rice, a small salad, and 5 hand-made tortillas. I haven't had a rotisserie chicken this good in a long time. The skin was crispy. Everything was so flavorful! My waitress was great, knowledgeable, and attentive. It didn't take long for my food to come out.

Has been around for a long time and is easily the best Mexican food in the area. Has started to get much busier recently but the quality has not dropped a bit. Great selection and quality for both authentic and Tex-Mex dishes.
