Taquería El Rey

This one hurts because I actually like their taco truck. I’ve had good tacos, burritos, and quesadillas from there. But the carne asada plate inside the restaurant? Yikes. The meat was so tough I felt like I needed a warning label. I kept spitting it out because I literally couldn’t chew it all the way. Not trying to choke over dinner. Super disappointed. I’ll stick to the truck food if I come back, but this plate was a hard no.

This is a nice place for lunch. Their menu is large with several items to choose from and the prices are reasonable. I ordered a steak fajita plate and I came out sizzling on a hot metal plate. Tasted great. Lots of large tables to accommodate large groups. A back room with a stage for karaoke nights too.

We were looking for an authentic Mexican restaurant and so we stopped by Taqueria El Rey ... looks from the outside a person could judge but often the little dives are the best eateries ... and so this was one of them!!! I ordered the enchiladas and they were filled with authentic Queso blanco but the host asked if I wanted mozzarella and of course I said no, I wanted the authentic and it didn't disappoint!! Food was delicious and truly authentic!! Would definitely recommend!!

The food was super good. The Spanish rice was some of the best I've ever had hands down the breeda was fantastic. Hot sizzling steak. Oh my gosh, what more could you ask for? It was so yummy! Great salad bar. The only downside the TV was way way way way way way way too loud go. You won't be disappointed
