Taqueria Santa Cruz Express

Disappointed today. Haven't eaten here in quite awhile. After they took over when El rodeo closed they still served the same great food and had that same great taste. I ordered the two enchilada combo with no salad. I was disappointed at the enchiladas the red sauce was different this time much darker in color but the flavor was way off. Plus they didn't give me any sour cream and guacamole like they usually do on the side. Their beans and rice were still on point.

So I came to this Taqueria to get a burrito despite all the bad reviews that I saw and thought I just give them a chance I asked for a super steak burrito with no lettuce and extra sour cream. The burrito had lettuce on it triple the amount of sour cream The meat was at the bottom not through out the burrito which wasn’t very much meat as well, so I asked them for a refund. Please don’t waste your time coming here or waste your money that you work hard for .they must have family and friends giving them reviews because that makes no sense How the food was When they have good reviews with 4.5 star all lies

Found an Awesome little gem here in Galt! Before I get to the food let me say the atmosphere is so chill. And the restroom is Clean! No crappy weird smell at all! Now, for the price next door at denys you will get your moneys worth here at the Taqueria!! The chips and salsas are self serve which is cool especially with the variety they have. I don’t do spicy too much But I will get down on these here! My lady got asada tacos and I got a surper burrito with carnitas. I have to say they were Very Delicious!! The asada isn’t dry like some other places and the carnitas were good and flavorful even with the guac pico and crema around it. Oh and let’s not forget the horchata! Very good and not too sweet, just right. We will definitely be coming again especially on the days for the specials!

First time stopping in while on the road... ordered the Nacho Fries, it was yummy. The AC was broken, not the ideal place to sit and eat. It was waaaay hot, so took it to go and got back on the road.

My first time trying this new Taqueria and I sent these pictures to all my friends! My California burrito was piping hot (& still is close to an hour later!), packed full of yummy goodness, and so big I could only eat 2/3 of it in one sitting. On top of that, they have a salsa bar (free with your meal!) AND their chips are homemade. I just found my new regular spot!!
